• i can't say that i was inspired to write about the 27 year old South Carolina man who impregnated a 9 year old girl, but i feel like if i were the parent, friend, relative of that child, i would be on my wits end. apparently, this pervert (now convicted) was having sex with this girl once or twice a day for TWO YEARS. he was sentenced to 25 years in prison, but somehow i feel like that doesn't even do the girl's family justice. the man apologized to the family in court saying he was sorry for his actions and that he wishes he could take it back. he also stated that he was aware of what he was doing. at least tell the court you're mental... i mean come on.
• i wish i was wealthy enough to be able to afford Amazon.com stock. reports are saying that the economy is on its way out of the slump its been in post 9/11. i don't know much more about stock matters, so i guess i'll end right about here, but i must say - i do know what an IPO is, be proud.
• i'm doing well. i like my hair, but i miss it when i'm playing with it. i'm feeling healthy (today). i have new running shoes and trumping that, i have new yellow shoes. i'm on top of the chaos that is my life = paper writing. for being a senior in college, these upper level classes really didn't challenge me a whole lot this semester. i learned a lot. and i must say the best part about being a journalism major is staying on top of political matters in the country. perhaps my consolation prize for not being challenged is feeling like i am more active politically.... and i'll take that.
• i wonder when i'll stop waking up in the middle of the night to check my phone for text messages.
• lastly, Victoria Beckham doesn't drink water because she doesn't like the taste. what should my excuse be?
